As part of our mission to help folks enjoy their down at the pond experiences, we opened our tackle shop, Lake Pro Tackle, in 2015. Knowing shopping online is more convenient for most folks, we launched LakeProTackle.com in April of 2020. Since then, we've recruited local Joes to share their go-to lures for their favorite lakes and post whenever they go fishing, to let us know if the fish are biting and, if so, what they are hitting on. You can choose your lake, season, water clarity and target habitat, and the website will show you lures according to your selections.

Our physical store is located just 6 miles west of Gainesville, Texas on Highway 82. We carry all your favorite brands, plus some locally made lures, and lots of stuff you won't find anywhere else. Including friendly, knowledgeable staff. Plus, if you are a member of The Pond Club, once you've earned $25 in Pond Bucks, you can convert those to Bass Bucks to spend on equipment at Lake Pro Tackle.
