The King King Pro is absolutely the perfect fishing boat for rivers, ponds and small lakes. The only mistake that I made was......I should have had one of these years ago. You can not go wrong with the quality and comfort of Pond King products.

All of our boats are custom-built to order. Choose from one of our pre-designed packages, or contact us to design your perfect pontoon boat!

All of our small pontoon boats are delivered to the address you provide for a fee, or you can pick them up at our headquarters for free. If you order your boat with a trailer, we’ll drive the boat to your location, and go over its operation with you. If you ordered it without a trailer, we’ll launch it in your pond and you’re ready to start fishing!

We've built our reputation the good ol’ fashioned Texas way; with integrity, hard work and good nature. We manufacture all our boats with the intention that they will last a lifetime, and beyond. If you have a problem with your boat that is related to its construction, we’re going to take care of it. But, to make it official, here’s the warranty:

All of Pond King's small pontoon boats carry a limited lifetime warranty on any manufacturer defects on frames, welds and pontoons. Any accessories not manufactured by Pond King carry their own manufacturers’ warranty and are handled directly with those respective manufacturers.
Pond King must receive payment in full for the small pontoon boats before shipping or delivery. You can pay in full when you place your order online, or, if you prefer, you can make a $1,000 deposit to get your boat into our production lineup and pay the balance with a check. Please call us to make those arrangements.

FAQ

To help you decide which boat is best for you, please check out our Boat Recommendation tool. Or, if you’d prefer, give us a call. Our boat experts will help you choose the right boat and outfit it just the way you want.
All of Pond King's pontoon boats are made to order, right here at our facility in Gainesville. Once we receive your order, we'll get started building your boat but production time will depend on when you place your order. (If you are ordering between March and June, call for an estimated delivery time.) A typical lead time is around 4-6 weeks for completion, depending on the season.
All the Pond King pontoon boats are designed to be low maintenance with welded aluminum subframes, heavy gauge pontoons, and stainless steel hardware. Unlike a V-hull or Jon-boat, Pond King pontoon boats don’t require constant tarping or need to be bailed out after a storm. Once delivered, your Pond King pontoon boat can pretty much stay in the water.
The decking on all of our small pontoon boats is made of custom extruded, tongue-in-groove aluminum planks with a skid-resistant powder-coating. The decks of our pontoon boats stay cool and aren’t slippery when wet, plus they'll last a lifetime.
At Pond King, we manufacture our boats, start to finish, right here at our facility in Gainesville, Texas, and that includes the pontoons. We roll our pontoons to our own specifications from 0.080” marine-grade 5052 aluminum. By adjusting the diameter to length ratio, we can create the appropriate buoyancy for each of our boats - so they only need two pontoons. If you check out our mini pontoon boats, you'll see that some of our boats actually have 4 pontoons - but they are configured to act the same way our 2 pontoon system works.
You bet. The cone shape on the front of the pontoon improves the boats steer-ability. We’ve specifically designed the pitch of our cones to keep the nose up – when you are speeding up or slowing down – and to facilitate maneuverability in the water, so the front end slices through the water.
Pond King's small pontoon boats are known for their stability, especially as it relates to their size. Welding our frames together, versus bolting, provides a very high level of torsional stability at the joints which contributes to the overall stability of the craft.
Unlike bolts, welds don’t work loose over time. That’s why at Pond King we weld the deck frames to brackets, which are then welded to the pontoons, contributing to the boat’s stability and longevity.
Because all of our boats are built to order, we require a 50% deposit before we start construction. The balance is due either prior to shipping or at the time of delivery. If you are picking your boat up, or we are delivering it, we'll require the balance when you take possession of the boat. We’ll accept credit cards, checks, or even good ol’ cash.
Because most of our customers have us put their boat on the water, and that's where it stays, we don’t include trailers in the base price - although we do offer trailers for all small pontoon boat models.
We recommend using a Long (20″) shaft outboard motor on the Sport models and up.

We’re happy to answer any questions you may have. Let us help you determine if the Pond King Pro is right for you.

The versatility of a Pond King Pro

We offer plenty of seating options and packages to fit every need, whether you're fishing solo, with a buddy, or bringing the whole family along. Many customers love the flexibility of adding two more ProBax seats with pull-out posts in a diamond configuration, creating a comfortable setup for four. For even more versatility, you can opt for a flip-top bench that provides extra seating while doubling as a convenient storage space for gear. And when it’s time for a more focused fishing trip, the pull-out seats can be easily removed, giving you plenty of space for casting and reeling in your catch. No matter how you like to fish, we have a seating arrangement that’s just right for you.

Roomy deck for a confident fishing experience

The deck on the Pond King Pro is 65-square-foot deck or about one-and-a-half times as big as a King Size Bed. That’s a lot of room for you, your buddies and all their fishing gear. And with pontoons that are 13-feet, 9-inches long and 18-inches in diameter, this boat has plenty of buoyancy to keep you nice and stable as everyone moves around. Stand up to cast with confidence, or kneel on the edge of the boat to release your catch knowing you’ll stay dry.

Low-drafting and easy to maneuver

One of the things we hear from customers is that they find this boat easy to maneuver, even in those hard to reach places where the fish love to hide. With 18-inch pontoons, this boat will draft in water that’s about a foot deep - just keep an eye on your propeller as that will sit deeper in the water than the pontoons when it’s fully lowered.
