Floating Docks built to withstand the extremes of Texas and Oklahoma
All of our steel-framed floating docks are built to order using Galvanized 12-gauge steel with 14-gauge C-Purlin bracing on 16” centers. The Pond King frames and welds carry a 10-year warranty; the TimberTech Decking won’t crack, split, splinter, or rot, and carries a 25-year limited warranty, and the InsulBead Floats carry a 15-year warranty. These babies are built to last!
What to expect when you order a Standard Steel-framed Floating Dock from Pond King
All of our docks are built to order so we rarely have any "in stock." When you are ready to order a Standard or Deluxe Steel-framed floating dock from Pond King, you can design your own using our online "Dock Builder," or contact one of our experts who will work with you to make sure you are getting exactly the dock you want and need. We'll discuss the water elevation in your body of water, the installation site, and the entire installation process to make sure there aren't any surprises on delivery day.
Once I place an order for a Standard Steel-Framed Floating Dock, how long will it take to be delivered and installed?
Our docks are all made to order and our lead times vary depending on demand. Be sure to call for an ETA, especially if you are ordering between March and July. The steel-framed docks are built completely at our shop and then loaded onto a trailer and delivered and installed at your lake. Please call to get an estimated ship date before placing your order.
What is your service area?
We typically deliver and install our Standard and Deluxe Steel-Framed Docks within 500 miles of our location in Gainesville, TX – including into Oklahoma and Louisiana. If you need a dock and live outside our steel dock delivery service area, check out our aluminum floating docks or our dock kits which can be shipped nationwide
How are the docks delivered?
The Steel-Framed docks are built up, in full, in our shop and then loaded onto a trailer pulled by a 4 x 4 pickup. The trailer is backed into the water and the dock is floated off (similar to unloading a boat). This is why we ask lots of questions about access to the installation site, and about the installation site itself. Docks 10’ x12’ and larger require an oversized hauling permit and you’ll need to get a special quote for this. To see our per mile delivery rates, please see our Shipping FAQs.
All of our assembled floating docks are made to last using the highest quality materials. We use TimberTech Decking that won’t crack, split, splinter, or rot, carries a 25-year limited warranty, and is available in two color choices, Cedar or Grey. We use hot-dipped, galvanized fasteners, and other top-quality components allowing us to offer a 10-year warranty on all Pond King steel and aluminum frames and welds. The InsulBead Floats are all encapsulated polyethylene shell with UV inhibitors and carry their own warranty. We stand behind our product and the materials we use; sadly, if the damage is caused by acts of God, you'll have to take the matter up with him.
We intend for your family to enjoy your Pond King dock for years to come!
